Fall Bible Study

You all know what I planner I am, so it should come as no surprise that I have already made a plan for our Fall Bible study. Since schedules can get kinda crazy and because I know we want our Bible study to be intentional in our lives, I am giving you the information about what we have coming up in plenty of time! Thank you ladies for being so faithful to our Bible study. Your encouragement and love has been a blessing that I just cannot explain. You all are amazing!

The study I have chosen for the fall is "Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed." (which I'm sure I'll shorten to ATR.) It is a seven week study and concentrates on the life of David. This study came out of a Deeper Still Conference by Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore and Kay Arthur a few years ago. There is video teaching by all three ladies. I have just started it but have talked to several ladies that have completed it and they loved it. So, I am praying that it will be very meaningful to all of us. I will give you some updates as I get farther into it.

Here is our schedule so you can mark your calendars now.

Start date: Monday, August 23 - Week 1
Monday, August 30 - Week 2
Tuesday, September 7 - Week 3
(meeting on Tuesday because of Labor Day Holiday on that Monday)
Monday, September 13 - off (I'll be out of town)
Monday, September 20 - off (Celebrating Cindy's birthday on Tuesday the 21st)
Tuesday, September 28 - Week 4
(meeting on Tuesday because Monday is Darrell's birthday)
Monday, October 4 - Week 5
Monday, October 11 - Week 6
Monday, October 18 - Week 7

As you probably noticed, I have a couple of Tuesdays mixed in the schedule because of Monday conflicts. If Tuesdays are not doable for any of you, please let me know. Also, ladies, it seems this season of my life as just gotten a little crazy. I am committed to our studies so I promise I won't let that go but I just may have to ask that we continue to meet at the church, at least for a little while. I'll just see how it goes. I don't want this to be a burden on any of us so we might also consider making our dinner at Longstreet a standing appointment before we head to the church. What do you think? I'm certainly fine with whatever all of you want to do. Just be thinking about it.

I will be glad to get the workbooks. PLEASE respond as soon as possible so I'll know how many books to get.

I am so looking forward to all of us being back together again!

"As iron sharpens iron, so one (wo)man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another . . . " Hebrews 10:25
